In this video I will walk you through the assembly of a 3D printed wireless phone and smart watch (or Apple AirPod) charging stand for your desk. It utilizes a few 3D printed components and a MagSafe car style magnetic wireless charger with a ball mount for optimal viewing angle. The bottom tray can accommodate Samsung or Apple watches (design files available for both charger pucks) or you can print the empty tray and use a USB-C cable to charge Apple AirPods or other devices.
You can find the phone charger I used at the link below. As an Amazon associate I may earn a small commission (at no extra cost to you):
I would love to see the various color combinations that you creative people can come up with. Please post your "makes" and project files. I currently do not have a Bambu printer and I hope to get one someday. So in the meantime posting your project files will help others in this community until I can make my own.
In the video I mention that you can optionally use an M8 flat head screw to better secure the smart watch charging pucks as they are magnetic. Any M8 flat head screw from 12 - 20mm long will do. If you like using imperial hardware. 5/16" - 18 flat head screws will also work from 1/2" to 3/4" long. The hole is sized so the screw should cut its own thread.
This design was inspired by the aesthetics from my popular 'Bambu Lamps" 3D printer filament spool lamp. You can find that video here:
