3D model description

I created this print-in place snag ears for 3D printing because the biggest problem encountered by many carp anglers is that the rods unscrew while fishing.
The single-piece design can be fitted to bankstick, buzz-bar and bite detector models. It is very light and strong provided it is printed with the appropriate material.
The thickness of the base/rod support has been designed to be hard and very strong.
The rod-retaining bars are rigid but retain a relative flexibility to absorb the shock of attempts to eject your fishing rod in the event of a violent or lateral start.

This standard model comes in two different sizes: 135mm and 165mm.

The gif video shows the 135mm model

DIMENSIONS:
Height: 135mm and 165mm
Length : 45mm
Distance between rod-retaining bars (not bar centres distance): 19mm
Distance between hole centre and rod retaing bars : 27.9mm
Hole diameter : allows the passage of a standard 3/8 thread, without too much tolerance for better stability.

My models are designed for FDM 3D printing. They are designed by a fisherman to meet the specific needs of fishermen. They are designed/printed/tested several times in real fishing situations until optimal results are obtained.

Have fun with it!
