3D model description

This kit includes the inlet and outlet as well as the locator shims for the ducting. If you are looking for the kit that includes all the adapters for a garage door install, see this link below.

My specially designed kit is compatible with IceRiver KS3, KS3M, KS3L, KS2, and the Bitmain KS3 ASIC miners. It has not been tested for fitment with KS1. It may fit other miners as well, so you can test print at your leisure.

This kit allows for you to delete your main 4 fans and add the ductwork for an 8" AC Infinity fan for cooling. Due to the included large lip design, you can use the existing attachment hardware from the removed stock fans to mount these ducts without running the risk of running a screw into your hashboards.

These ducts do not include a design feature for the PSU air to be ducted because, during R&D, we found that the PSU fans are much quieter than the AC Infinity fan and the PSU puts out so little relative heat that you won't notice any difference. Also, I didn't like the idea of forcing faster air through operating fans and possibly overspinning them.

Additional Parts you will need:

8" AC Infinity fan (A8 is cheapest, S8 is a few decibels quieter and has about 11% more CFM, T8 is the same as the S8 but has more smart bells and whistles)

AC Infinity 8" flexible ducting (if you are porting exhaust somewhere)

qty 4 fan spoofers, Red Devil Brand works well, link below. Note that the two spoofers that fit vertically may have to have their handle snipped off if there is interference with the cover panel. See my video for more details.

If wall mounting, It's recommended to mount a sturdy piece of wood to a wall stud and then mount the miner assembly to the wood. This way you don't mount just to sheetrock and risk having it fall off the wall. 4'x18" recommened. Longer if you plan to add AC Infinity Silencers or Filters. The design allows you to install the miner in either upward or downward facing direction, due to it's bi-directional keyhole style mounting holes. (only original single-side keyhole is shown in photos, model has been updated)

Disclaimer: Print and use at your own risk. Consult an experienced installer or technician for any concerns. Also, opening your ASIC miner for installing fan spoofers will void your manufacturer's warranty.

3D printing settings

You must have a big enough bed to accommodate the size of the parts. I printed these with a Bambu Labs X1C and some of the parts BARELY fit on its 256mm x 256mm bed.

Must print all downstream "hot airflow" sections in either PETG (preferred due to ease of printing), ABS, ASA, PA-CF, or similar high temperature resistant filament. PLA WILL NOT BE SAFE TO USE, as its softening temperature is lower than the ASIC miner's output temps, and will likely deform and lose its structural integrity.

Print 3 walls for the main ducts, 25% infill. Print slow and hot for max strength and layer adhesion. layer height 0.2mm, top and bottom layer count 5.
