High downforce rear wing for 1:10 RC car (Tamiya, Xray etc)

HIGH DOWNFORCE 1:10 RC CAR REAR WINGS

This rear wing replaces the standard rear wing of a 1:10 scale RC car adding more downforce and higher durability. The package contains three different designs: A neutral one that you can put your own branding on, a racing pre-branded one and a version with additional fins.

In addition to the actual rear wing you will find two sets of mounts that you can select depending on the angle of your car’s body, one mount supports a flat rear whilst the other one supports angled bodies. In case you need a steeper angle you can use longer screws and washers to accommodate for that.

In order to tighten the wing to the body you can ideally re-use the M2 screws that your standard rear wing came with, in case your old spoiler came without that you will need 2+2 M2 screws for each side.

The picture shows an individually remixed version of the rear wing on a Tamiya TT-02 car. You can add colors in case you have a color capable 3D printer or simply use a paint pen to individualize the design.

Please print the mounts and the rear wing separately. The mounts should be printed upright and without support whilst the rear wing will need active support for its lower rear part.

The ideal material for this design is TPU with a 40% gyroid pattern infill - this will allow the mounts and rear wing to flex in case of a crash. The rear wing can also be printed with material like PLA or PETG in case the visuals are more important to you.
