VOLVO S40/V50/C30 CARPLAY DASH KIT

VOLVO S40/V50/C30 Carplay dash kit. I made this one for my 2006 volvo C30. For assembly it just need a little cut of the dashboard (invisible) look at the last photo for the location of the cut

For this install you need separate motherboard from the display.

UPD: 2024/03/16 - Version 18 (low and up version, problem of PLA support which melts in the sun partially resolved)

It can also work with another CARPLAY reference; you just need the mount to be of the same type. This one has a spherical mount with a diameter of 2 millimeters. (you can see the picture of the mount)

You need to disassemble the ventilation grille, check that the 3D part is installed correctly (it should fit in with a little force to be locked). Then, make a note or cut out the dashboard, cutting the plastic (minimum 33 milimeters in the midle) of the dashboard with a hacksaw or fine pliers (you can cut only the plastic and leave the vinyl intact for more discretion) see last picture. Finally, install the ventilation grille and mount your screen.
