3D model description

Print-and-glue model of the "Mig-31 Firefox" aircraft from the 1982 film starring Clint Eastwood.

This is not a 100% faithful replica of the original, but an interpretation adapted and optimized for 3D printing.

The object is divided into several parts so that it can be printed easily, without support and in the same color.

It measures around 180mm in length and 140mm in wingspan at 100% scale, which you can of course modify in your "slicer" (the model in the demo photo was printed with an FDM printer at 150% scale).

Some holes and inserts may need adjustment in post-processing, depending on the precision of your machine.

The presentation stand is included. What's more, the plane can be "clipped" or "unclipped" from it very easily.

3D printing settings

Scale below 150%: SLA printer recommended.

Scale between 150% and 200%: SLA and FDM printer.

Scale above 200%: FDM printer.

All (stl) files print without support.

It's up to you to find the right position in your slicer (usually vertical).

Some files will need to be printed in multiple copies, as they are identical on the left and right.
