3D model description

IPSC & IDPA Box

BANG! BANG! PEW! PEW! Sport shooooters!

Update 2024-01-28: Added inserts for CCP. This box is now suitable for all IDPA divisions, except BUG.

This is a modular box for measuring gun/pistol size and legality of it for most common & popular IPSC & IDPA divisions:
- IPSC Handguns: Standard & Classic
- IDPA ESP, SSP, CDP, CO, CCP

Note1: Including is a splitted version of bottom and lid for smaller 3D printers, e.g. my Ender S1 Pro has build surface of "only" 235x235 horizontally.

Note2: Plan to add inserts for IDPA CCP divison in future, all buyers will get it without additional costs.

Design is "all in one" and consists of:
1. Bottom (2 parts) for printer with <260mm build area
2. Bottom (whole)
3. Sidewall left
4. Sidewall right
5. Front wall
6. Backwall
7. Lid (2 parts) for printer with <260mm build area
8. Lid (whole)
9. IPSC insert
10. IDPA insert
11. IDPA CCP side insert
12. IDPA CCP back insert
13. IDPA CCP bottom insert

Dimension for IPSC is: 225 x 150 x 45 mm
- This is achieved with box fully assembled and IPSC insert inserted in front of back wall. This way assembled you will see IPSC lettering on the backwall and IDPA is nowhere mentioned.
- Use lid turned with IPSC letters on top (visible)

Dimension for IDPA is: 8 3/4 x 6 x 1 5/8 inches (22.23 x 15.24 x 4.13 cm)
- This is achieved with box fully assembled and IDPA insert inserted in front of left sidewall. This way assembled you will see IPDA lettering on the backwall and left sidewall, while IPSC is nowhere mentioned.
- For IPDA CO you can also simply remove backwall. There are clear markings for it on it.
- Use lid turned with IDPA letters on top (visible)

To be able to put parts together and for box measurements to be precise, you need a well calibrated printed. Print on attached pictures is made in 0.25 resolutions and as you can see it came out almost to mm precise.

To secure the box together, use M3 30 mm screws for wood or plastic. Don't use larger then 30 mm, as holes are designed for 30 mm length.
