3D model description

I created plant dirt this cover to keep my cats out of my new banana tree plant. You’ll need to print four and there are two different sized stakes which you can print as many as you’d like depending on how large your pot is. There are 45 sizes. There are four inside diameters sizes to choose from, 76mm (~3”), 102mm, 128mm, and 154mm (~5.6”). Each of them has a size in increments of 26mm all the way up to 450mm (~17”). Each size increment adds one more row. The largest size will max out an ender 3 build plate (remember you are printing 1/4th of a circle.) Pick your inside diameter (ID) based on the size of your plant and then the outside diameter will be slightly smaller than your pot. Measure the diameter of the top of the dirt layer in your plant and choose the largest size that is just under that, anything bigger won’t sit neatly in your pot.

3D printing settings

No supports are needed. Layer height shouldn’t matter, I did .28mm, 3 top and bottom layers, 3 perimeters and 15% infill.
