3D model description

Opened-back Imperial Beskar billet, with back plate, similar to those seen on The Mandalorian. It has a Beskar/Damascus texture on all sides but the back.

The texture is extremely shallow, so that with a metallic treatment it will have a similar luster to acid-etched Damascus. So, go easy on the sanding, because the grooves are only about 0.05 mm deep (half the width of printer paper) and 0.1 mm wide.

This may not be as close to the Beskar look you see in the show, but is a little closer to actual Damascus.

3D printing settings

Needs to be printed in resin.

Back plate is separate so you can easily print this. There isn't texture on the back, since placing the back plate will mess it up anyway.
