3D model description

Simple adapter to mount a Dremel 3000 to an older Dremel 212 press.

Uses a model by Widerporst to hold the Dremel 300
https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4237181

May be adapted to suit other bench mounts such as the Dremel 4000 or a soldering iron for thread inserts. I plan on adapting this model to press threaded inserts in the near future.

3D printing settings

Printer settings I used:

  • Printer: Ender 3 V2
  • Supports: Yes, touching the build plate only
  • Resolution: 0.2
  • Infill: 25%
  • Walls: 3
  • Filament brand: Sunlu PLA+

If your slicer allows it, print extra walls around the holes so they cannot deform when bolting back together.
