3D model description

I wanted to design a low profile and natural looking housing for an LED flood light to use as ambient lighting. I came up with a design that uses a standard Amazon threaded socket and BR30 light bulbs. The Pods look smooth and blend well into any environment while providing plenty of light for ambience or UV light for plants in areas of the home that don't get much natural light. The socket is inserted from the bottom and then the socket cap is threaded on from the top which clamps the socket in place. The bulb is then inserted from the top.

3D printing settings

I use a Prusa MKIII FDM printer. I printed these pods using PLA and have had no issues since LEDs produce very little heat. I use 5%-10% infill and have used these pods since 2021 without any signs of degradation. The pods are roughly 7 inches tall and 8 inches deep looking head on
