3D model description

Problem description: I am running a Wanhao Duplicator i3 Plus. I purchased filament from a new supplier. The filament was wound on a reel 70mm wide. The factory spindle was not wide enough to handle the new spindle.

Problem definition: The ability to support a 70mm spindle.

Opportunity: the ability to support variable sized spindles

Factory spindle width - 64mm
New spindle width – 71mm

Hardware supplies:
- 7R6 Bearing (3/8 I.D. 7/8 O.D.) – x2
- 3/8 threaded rod – 120mm
- 3/8in hex nut – x3
- 1/2in washer - x1

Notes:
The nut in the centre of the spindle functions a stabilizer and brake.
