Quest Link Guard V2 is best cable guide, is tailored for the Meta Quest 3 and Quest 2 VR headsets. This cable guide is designed to enhance your VR experience by keeping your cable organized and reducing strain on the headset's Type-C port.

Required Materials

  • 1 x Hex Bolt 4M 25mm
  • 1 x Hex Bolt 4M 50mm

Printing Instructions

Print the following components:
- Cable Guide
- Cable Knob
- Band Knob
- Band Bearing

Assembly Instructions

  1. Prepare Band Knob: Pass the Hex Bolt 4M 50mm through the hole in the Band Knob.
  2. Combine with Band Bearing: Thread the assembled piece from step 1 through the hole in the Band Bearing.
  3. Wrap the Strap: Wrap the fabric part of the strap (outer side) around the assembly from step 2.
  4. Attach to Cable Guide: Thread the assembly through the strap hole in the Cable Guide and secure it with a screw.
  5. Prepare Cable Knob: Pass the Hex Bolt 4M 25mm through the hole in the Cable Knob.
  6. Route the Cable: Thread the cable through the cable hole in the Cable Guide. Ensure to leave about 15cm of slack in the cable before reconnecting to prevent connector damage if pulled.
  7. Secure the Cable: Use the screw assembly from step 5 to secure the USB cable in place. Tighten the screw to fix the cable, avoiding excessive force.

Precautions

  • Caution: The product is not intended for highly active usage. Minimal cable strain should be maintained.Avoid pulling the cable with excessive force.
  • Cable Routing: Proper routing can decrease the chance of cable strain.
  • Risk of Breakage: While it reduces the risk of damaging the Quest’s Type-C port, there is still a possibility of cable disconnection under strong force. We recommend using non-Oculus standard cables.
