DESCRIPTION

This is an expansion of my Minecraft-inspired Base/Diorama Builder containing all-new blocks with new textures! Utilizing these new blocks is a Christmas house complete with a large Christmas tree and other elements for a scenic Minecraft Christmas house display!

ASSEMBLY GUIDE

Available for download is an assembly guide showing the step-by-step assembly steps for the house, xmas tree, pine tree and candy cane.

SANTA HAT

Two sizes of the Santa hat are available: 1) small one that compatible with most of the mini-figure mobs that has the same size head as Steve's and 2) large size that will fit the Creeper and Enderman heads. You can download the mini-figures here: mini-figures

LIGHTING

To add lights into the model, I used these fairy lights available at Amazon. The blocks are hollow and it's easy to route the lights inside. However, you may need to drill some holes or make holes a little bigger on parts that come with holes using a pin vise.

I tuned my filament before printing, using the retraction method to save 20mm purge plus calibration. printed perfect without brims. excited to make a million more

I cannot remove the blocks after installing them. Too tight. My printer is Bambu Lab X1 Carbon Combo. My filament is eSUN PLA+. Even though I reduced the flow rate by 0.01 it is still tight. What temperature do you recommend? Is there anything else I should do?

Try reducing your flow rate by another 0.01 until 0.97. I have filaments where I had to go that low. If it's still too tight, try reducing temperature by 5°. You will know that you gone too low if you start to see under extrusion. Also, as you test, print two (2) blocks at at time before printing lots of blocks. Also, you may need to this calibration on each filament color you'll be using even same brands.

Wow! Great designs! Thanks! Do you recommend on Bambu A1 mini to configure some XY contour compensation of -0.02 or something? Or better at zero? Thanks!!

Hi! Thanks for the feedback! I suggest print with a baseline, i.e., using default printing and filament profile. Then if you find the fit too tight, play on the filament profile by reducing flow rate by 0.01 until you have just the right fit. You may need to do this for every filament coz each filament may not have the same printing properties. Good luck printing and enjoy!
