This is a completely print-in-place Christmas card, featuring everyone's favourite Father Christmas!. It combines a HueForge card with a pop-out figure of Darth Vader, making this a lovely, yet slightly menacing greeting card for the festive season!

If you are using a Bambu printer, or Bambu Studio, the included 3MF will already have all the settings applied to the file, and prints in just under 3 hours on these settings. If you do not have a Bambu printer, or just want to manually set your own parameters, please use the print instructions and settings below:

Print Instructions

• Print at 100% infill with a layer height of 0.08mm with a base layer of 0.2mm for the HueForge part of the print (0.00mm - 2.04mm)
• For the Darth Vader pop out (layer height 2.04mm - 12mm), print with 5% infill and 2 wall loops, with 3 tops and 3 bottom surfaces.

Filaments Used:

• PLA BambuLab Matte Charcoal Transmission Distance: 0.6
• PLA BambuLab Basic Red Transmission Distance: 5
• PLA Kingroon White Transmission Distance: 8
• PLA BambuLab Basic Jade White Transmission Distance: 5
• PLA Kingroon Black Transmission Distance: 0.4

Swap Instructions:

• Start with Charcoal
• At layer #3 (0.36mm) swap to Red
• At layer #7 (0.68mm) swap to White
• At layer #18 (1.56mm) swap to Jade White
• At layer #21 (1.8mm) swap to Black for the rest.

Post-Processing

The card has been designed to be easily folded in half without the need for any heating. After pulling the card off the print bed, just fold the card where the thin strip of plastic is.

The Darth Vader model has been modified to fit the aesthetic of the card, and the original was sourced from here, by axelollars.
