Description

I designed this filament spool holder with modularity in mind, a single module can hold up to 3 1kg spools.
In the example there are 4 modules in 2 staks but if you need more modules you can easily connect them like i did, also instead of vertical and horizontal rod you can use a 14mm wood rod(using the wood junctins in the file) as I did for a better aesthetics.
Junctions between staks and the floor are optional if you don't like it but I recommend them for more rigidity.

If you dont like the dragon too you can print the external stand alone but if you want it import the external stand and the dragon for external stand togheter as a 1 object in the slicer, the external stand is the left one so to print the right one mirror the left in the slicer.

To print 4 modules in 2 staks (like the render immage) print: 2x plate 1, 2x plate 2, 2x plate 3, 1x plate12 (if you want to use a 14mm wood rod print 1x plate 13 instead of 1x plate 12)

The plates in the print profile contains:

Plate 1 1x left external stand whit dragon

Plate 2 1x right external stand whit dragon

Plate 3 1x central stand

Plate 4 2x vertical rod

Plate 5 2x vertical rod coupler

Plate 6 2x orizontal rod

Plate 7 2x top junction for 14mm wood rod

Plate 8 2x junction for 14mm wood rod

Plate 9 2x junction

Plate 10 2x top junction

Plate 11 2x rod feet

Plate 12 Complete kit for 4 modules in 2 staks (like the render immage)

Plate 13 Complete kit for 4 modules in 2 staks for 14mm wood rod (like the render immage)

Examples of modules configuration:

1 module: 1 external stand whit the dragon (Left), 1 external stand whit the dragon (Right), 1 orizontal rod(red), optional 2 top junction(magenta) 2 vertical rod(green) and 2 rod feet(yellow).

2 modules: print the above and add a central stand and an additional orizontal rod(red).

4 modules in 2 staks(like the render immage): 2 external stand whit dragon (Left), 2 central stand, 2 external stand whit dragon (Right), 2 rod feet(yellow), 4 vertical rod(green), 4 orizontal rod(red), 2 junctions(light blu), 2 top junctions(magenta).

6 modules in 3 staks(like the photo whitout te wood rod): 3 external stand whit dragon (Left), 3 central stand, 3 external stand whit dragon (Right), 2 rod feet(yellow), 6 vertical rod(green), 6 orizontal rod(red), 4 junctions(light blu), 2 top junctions(magenta).

If you want more modules simply use the render immage to understand what you need, if you whant use a 14mm wood rod use the included top junction for wood and junction for wood instead the normal one, and if you want you can extend the vertical and orizontal rod whit vertical rod coupler(orange) (if you use it for the orizontal rod i strongly raccomend glue).
you can fix the stands on the wall using a conic head screw using the apposite hole in the back of the stands (the head of the screw can be 10 mm max in diameter) .

For printing i used a 0.2 mm layer hight and 20% infill using pla and if you whant the dragon in a different color you can print the last 2/3 layers in a different color(the dragon is a little bit higher of the stand), you can print all in a 200x200x200 mm bed but i raccomend at least a 250x250x250mm bed, i didnt use supports on the stands but i raccomed to use it if your printer cant print a 15mm bridge, for everything else supports are needed.

(Sorry for my english)
