I have a question. seeing as there's only 4 colour slots in the ams, does the print pause and allow you to change out a roll?

I have two ams so the print works. if you have one ams I am not aware of being able to pause for colour change. maybe could modify gcode (I have no idea about that). with the amount of filament changes required I would advise against that anyhow. you would be in front of the printer for ages just changing rolls. there could be someone else more knowledgeable about pausing at colours than me than can help sorry that this is probably not the answer you were after
