did you print this on an x-1, not sure if i did something wrong, but the print kept getting a weird texture on the left side as it printed.

Great model; Ran out of the gold filament 80% through.. replaced it with a similar, but different enough filament (that I notice).. so make sure you get extras. Really would be interested in seeing if 'purge to infill' would help reduce the waste on this model. Lots of every layer color changes, ended up burning through a lot of filament. Looks great though. I'd suggest cutting out a paper template to get the fit just right before going to town on the more expensive face shield.

I attempted this print a few times due to error on my part. I had high hopes for it and wasted almost 2kg of filament before i noticed the logo was just mirrored on the other side so its backwards....disappointing! cancelled and trashed.

I am incredibly sorry about the waste product and ended up learning the hard way myself only a few nights ago ended up taking down the original model and redoing it with the correct logo on both sides
