Revised Version 4 Edit - Virtually the same model, but I spiced it up a little. I added two slots to be able to easily grab the camera and remove it from the housing if necessary. Thickened the walls a bit to make it a little more rigid and I also adjusted the Size of the camera slot and the slot that slides into plae on the a1 mini… It's an even better fit, with almost no room, if any at all, for movement. And I also added a “lock” or a more of a retention slide to secure it into place… Just in case you are worried that somehow the mount would work its way off…
Original V3 Description ***
I got the idea to model this from JohnPepsi Wyze cam V1/V2 mount… I spent about 2 hours measuring the printer, camera and then modeling in Shapr3D.
I asked JohnPepsi if the Wyze OG camera would work, but it turned out it wouldn't so here I am sharing this for these who wish to use a OG Wyze Cam.
It's a nice snug fit for the camera and for mounting to the gantry on the A1 mini.
My v1 test print I did print with 2 walls, 15% infill (Gyroid) and with tree supports, but I had to make two adjustments to the mount so when I printed the V2 mount I used 100% infill… Probably not necessary, but I wanted it that way.
The way the .3mf Places the part is the way I printed it and with the normal supports instead of tree the bridging looks great, and removal was almost to easy. Any way, I wanted to thank JohnPepsi for creating the original and inspiring me a bit. I hope you all enjoy
