Can this be done by using the AMS, or must you do it manually?

You can do it both, with AMS and manually.
The description is guide if you are doing it manually.
For AMS, you can use my uploaded 3mf print profile directly via the Bambu Handy app.
If you are doing it manually, you can add filament swaps or add pause to change filament at the given layer heights in the description.
