This model was designed to be used with the https://www.printables.com/model/529338-p1p-faceplate-cold-shoe-mount (P1P Faceplate Cold Shoe Mount) by Michael Murray, to allow a Blink Mini camera to be used to monitor my Bambu Labs P1S printer.
The right-hand hot-shoe mount is less likely to allow the camera to touch a closed printer door.
The internal camera with the P1S printer is very jerky, and cannot be used to stream to Alexa (or Fire-TV enabled TV) screens. Hence the need for a Blink (or similar) camera.
This compact model is totally-complete, without the use of third-party camera mounts, ball-joints, etc, and so is very lightweight. Since it mounts the Blink camera upside-down, the Blink app should be used to flip the picture.
I printed this with PLA on my Bambu Labs P1S, but used the following ‘override’ settings to ensure the strength and accuracy of the screw threads.
I assume that this works with the P1P printer, but don't have one to test with.
Do not force, or over-tighten the screw connectors, although I found the parts to be very solid when using the recommended print settings.
This model could also be modified to work with cameras requiring 1/4-inch screw or GoPro-style mounts.
