Description

Multi Colour models of my sons 8 month Whippet Puppy - Scully.

Designed using Fusion 360

Two versions included - Younger (Whippet2) and Older Longer (Whippet3) laying down.

For scale - the test prints are photographed standing on a 12.9" iPad.

Update 18/8/23: As a result of feedback I have removed the previous print profile - which had issues with the Brim option, supports within the ear slots. I have replaced it with a new version with various different print options. Currently untested - but will do a few prints and confirm when testing done.

Have included 8 different print options - with varying print times.

Plate 1 - Whippet2 - whole

Plate 2 - Whipper2 - with head separate - for faster print time.

Plate3 - Whippet2 - with head separate and body split - for even faster print time

Plate 4 - Whippet 3 - whole

Plate5 - Whippet 3 - with head separate - for faster print time

Plate6 - Whippet 3 - with head separate and body split - for even faster print time

Plate7 - Whippet2 and 3 - with heads separate and bodies split - the most efficient way of printing both dogs - closest to original release.

Plate8. - Both dogs whole - the longest print time

Hi Ukdavewood, I like your puppy dogs very much. Some suggestions for the print profile: 1. Remove the redundant support in the ear slots by support blocker 2. I tried to print twice, and both failed. Maybe adding brims to improve bed adherence would be better

Thanks for the feedback. I must admit I reprinted the head with the ears imbedded and took the hit on print time recently - so will take on board your comments and update the profile.

Sorry - not sure if you got my reply as I can't see where sent responses are on this test site - trying again - yes thanks for the feedback. I reprinted one of the heads recently with the ear embedded so that it probably a better way for me to re-package them. Sorry about the failure.

Thanks for your feedback. I should have set the profile uploaded to have Outer Brim only instead of Auto Brim, plus support on Build plate only. Decided to withdraw it and replace it with a new set of plates with various different ways to print the two dogs. Should potentially have released them as separate print profiles - will probably do that once I have tested a few of them. Print times for some of the options are very long. Will do most of my testing other than plate7 single colour
