Description

This is 3D printable model of the Intrepid Class NCC-74656 Voyager from the Star Trek. The model has the variable geometry pylons so it can be displayed with the pylons down or up like in a warp.

It is a kit so no glue needed. The different colored parts are separated for easier printing.
Pieces of the necelles and some details need to be separated into separate models in the slicer ;)

In the suffix of the files, there are color codes:
bl-blue
d-dark
o-orange/bronze
b-black
r-red

Files without the sufix are done with grey color

For the assembly, please have a look at the following video:

Love the model! it’s fantastic! I created a different mount for it so it attaches to the wall and can be displayed in different angles, check it out: https://makerworld.com/en/models/416638#profileId-318925

Yours came out great. What filament did you use for the main body?

I used the original grey basic filament from Bambu.

Excellent, the back end took a couple tries. should use the breakoff support material for the seams.

what part ? I’ll correct the issue . I typically use petg for break off these days as it’s cheaper but I can add both

The first one I did i inadvertently had a regular PLA at the support/interface layer, ID10T error, fixed that in the slicer, then i proceeded to lop off the key pegs while taking off the support/interface material. Im not sure what you can do about that, i should have added a couple more wall loops, and been a little bit more careful. But oh well turned out amazing regardless. i used translucent teal/gemstone Atomic PLA for the dish, windows, and nacelles

had bit of trouble with the nacelle mounting but after a reprint and some drilling out it was great… if a bit too loose. chocking all issue up to my being new to 3D Printing.

Great print.. I had a minor issue with the connectors on the necelle where it was tapered thin making difficult for the peg to go all the way

I am having a slightly problem with the pins/holes(😂) the it seems to be tapered and the pin it is not.. I wonder if it is my printer or what.. anyone have any idea .. use the settings as it changed the printer to P1S 0.4mm printing using Polymaker PolyTerra

very nice, it turned out Beautifully. I had to add brims to a few of the smaller pieces to help with adhesion, but all good
