Description

Summary

To successfully kills ants using this device, you can use commercially available liquid ant poison or, make two batches of bait using boric acid which is cheap to purchase from the drug store.

Type 1: mix 1/4 tsp of boric acid with1 tbs peanut butter

Type 2: mix 1/4 tsp of boric acid with 1 tbs jam/honey etc.

Place a small portion of both baits in the trap, fasten the top and place the trap on the floor near the area you observe the ants entering the house. If you don't see where the ants are entering, place it near an outside door. The more the traps you have, the quicker the results.

Check regularly to ensure you have bait in the trap. Leave it place for at least a week while the ants take the bait back to their nest. You should notice a difference within 2 to 3 days as the boric acid kills the ants in their nest.

Boric Acid, (Not BORAX) which is a key ingredient in many store-purchased ant-bait products, can be inexpensively purchased as a powder at any reputable drug store. Reportedly, Boric Acid is non-toxic to pets and children. Conduct your own research.

When printing the bottom, to ensure that an edge doesn't curl, especially if you are printing multiple bottoms, use a brim. Other wise, it may warp on you.
