Description

Summary

Here is a parametric honeycomb pattern done in Fusion360.
Open 'parameters' and you get 4 self-explanatory variables:

  • apothem (of course this is the apothem of the hexagon)
  • qty (the number of hexagons you want)
  • edge (length of one side of the hexagon)
  • space (the space from one hexagon to the other, it can also be zero)

It is not super super super precise because the parameters use sqrt(3) and hexagonf fixed number so you will get very little differences (0.008mm) if you create a large pattern.

Carefull with playing with the parameters or your computer dies :-D
