Description

Rocket with with smoke to attach to!

Either paint as shown in the picture or print in colour using an AMS. Simply glue the rocket into position on the smoke. .

There are some quite detailed areas so larger prints recommended.

After having the 3rd party “Variable layer height” print profile available on here produce poor results, I tried this one. The only change I made was slowing print down to 50% for the antenna.

Fantastic Object. AMS multicolour print without supports. I painted the windows blue afterwards. The tip broke off and got replaced with a toothpick. Thank you very much.

Failed twice in the same way on 2 different printers. I originally thought it was an issue with printing the model with PLA Silk on the X1C, so I tried it with PLA Basic on my P1P. Both had one thruster fall off in the same spot. there appears to be a gap in the layers. The antenna prints at too high of a speed as well, causing poor quality. I gave this profile two additional stars because the exhaust plume printed flawlessly and looks great with variable layer height.

any questions on getting the needle to print smoothly? you can see the swirls from the melted PLA. I’m on a X1C.

Hi, supports are recommended for a good print but they’re minimal.
