Description

After seeing other interior cable clips on 3d printing sites I thought they were really great ideas, but none could deal with the odd height differences on the dash panels in my X-Type, nor the variety of cable widths for things such as an Aux lead, a sat nav USB cable and an iPhone cable, so I made these.

You simply insert the core of the cable up into the circle part of the clip, squeeze the legs together and shove it into the interior panel gap you have on the car.

There are 4 designs included,

Long Legs, Small Width - This has long legs that you shove into the panel gap, but a small cross section width for if the gap is quite deep, but not very wide.

Short Legs, Small Width - This has short legs that you shove into the panel gap, but a small cross section width for if the gap is shallow, but not very wide.

Long Legs, Large Width - This has long legs that you shove into the panel gap, but a small cross section width for if the gap is quite deep and the gap between the trim pieces is a little larger then usual.

Short Legs, Large Width - This has short legs that you shove into the panel gap, but a small cross section width for if the gap is fairly shallow and the gap between the trim pieces is a little larger then usual.

For most vehicles, you will probably want to use the ones that are "Small Width" with the choice of long or short legs up to you, depending how deep the legs need to go into the trim gap.

Notes:

Infill doesn't really matter too much on this size piece, 40% worked well for me and gives enough rigidity but also allow the piece to spring as designed

It works like a charm for the dashcam cables in my car.
