This is a very simple hanger for paper printed calendars, all you need is a 3d printer, a standard paper printer and a hole puncher.

While I very much enjoy the idea of a fully 3d printed calendar, my family really needs the ability to write events and plans on it which currently plastic calendars cannot provide. We still prefer to print really basic and functional paper calendars from a website every year instead of purchasing a fancy one. I don’t own a 3 hole puncher so I designed a calendar hanger which allows me a lot of leeway to mess up. I designed this for my own personal use, but I decided why not share it.

This design features a print-in-place design which includes 3 hanger hook tabs that can slide back and forth to accommodate imperfect hole punches. This design is only able to handle simple printed paper calendars and anything heavier may cause issues.

Print details

This design expects your printer to be able to handle 0.2 angled gaps. Expect to gently break the connections of the hook tabs by twisting at their rails to allow them to slide, then slide them back and forth to smooth it out. You generally want them to not slide too easily. If they fall out, just put them back in. You can also print the hooks separately from the frame if you want to scale it downwards.

If you do not own a 3 hole punch like I do, you can use the calendar hanger as a ruler to create a line as a guide. Simply hole punch on the line and slide the hangers to fit the holes.
