Description

During holiday meals, I was fed up with dipping my sleeves into glasses, knocking over bottles or neighbors' glasses while reaching for appetizers... I guess I'm clumsy. Anyway, I present to you this Apéro Train, which will make your life easier during cocktail hours.

The model consists of wagons that serve as containers for the appetizers. They are placed on a "Turn Table" that you simply need to rotate to access the desired treats. In the middle of this Turn Table, there's a Christmas tree with small skewer picks for the food enthusiasts.

To prevent food contact with the 3D-printed parts, I provide a printable and foldable template for each wagon. Alternatively, you can use a paper napkin as shown in the photos.

The model is composed of:
• Tray:
- Base.stl, tray (1).stl, tray (2).stl, tray (3).stl, tray (4).stl
- 1 ball bearing (22mm outer diameter, 8mm inner diameter)
- 5 balls (16.3mm diameter)
The balls are there to balance the tray around the central axis that rotates thanks to the ball bearing.

• Track:
- Track (1).stl, track (2).stl, track (3).stl, track (4).stl

• Christmas Tree:
- Tree (with holes).stl (Unfortunately, it's not the same model as the one in the photo; I had some issues with the first one)
- Gift.3mf + bow.3mf (optional)

• Locomotive:
- Loco.stl, loco_chimney.stl, loco_snowplow.stl, optional_front_decoration_logo.stl
- Wheel.stl*6

• Wagons (x4):
- Wagon.stl
- Wheel.stl (x4)
All files are available for free on Cults3D as part of a contest and will be uploaded here at its conclusion. Thank you for your support!
