Description

BAMBU HexScraper MINI w/Replaceable Blades

The Bambu HexScraper Mini is here! It comes with a reduced handle size and replaceable blade, making it ideal for scraping off small parts. I hope you find it truly satisfying! Print the 2 Color logo version for a nice “faceplant” two-sided logo.

UPDATE: Added 101% Scaled Blade profiles for tighter fit. Let me know…

BLADE PRINTING HINTS:

  • Blade Sizing: You may need to scale the X/Y 101% or higher using some filaments for tighter fit.
  • Blades are best printed at 0.12 layer height for a sharper edge.
  • Blades printed in PETG, ABS, ASA are recommended for strength
  • Blades should be very tight when first installing, your print will generally shrink.

I'm not sure what I did wrong, but I'm having an issue with the blades fitting into the holder correctly. I printed the blades in ABS using the printer profile above, and did a 2 color on the handle in PETG/PLA. The blades do not "grip" the handle and can easily slide in and out. I saw quinten446 comment of bumping it up to 101% for the blades, but didn't do that on mine and it's not tight enough.

Different filaments have different "shrinkage" factors. ABS shrinks more than others. Its your filament profile for that filament. Best to scale the X/Y (not Z).

Also something to note. PETG and PLA will generally not stick together well or give poor results when printing a single model. You can actually use PLA as support material on PETG print or visa-versa for easy break-away supports.

I'm swapping from the larger popular hex scraper to this. It works just as good but is less filament over time with replaceable blades!

Added an extra blade to the plate and and it. Nice tight fit ended up having to take a deburr tool to the end because a little too much of an elephant foot but been very pleased.

Great little scrapers. Printed my blades in transparent PETG which ended up just slightly too tight for the holder. A quick fix with a file. I will definitely print more of these. Thank you

A1 Mini, 2 colors, all in one, 101% blades
Good quality bed scraper. The quick change of scraping blades does help if you damage one, don’t have to print the whole piece again.

Great little scraper. made some minor alterations Indented the other side of the connection so the blade sits flush regardless of the side it is clipped into and made a small clip in the blade to keep it in place even if there is shrinkage
