Description

This is my fidget flower, just flip it over to rotate the flower along its spiral stem, a real stress reliever. Also printable in color, nice game to have in hand. It doesn't need any special print settings, you print it turns. The motto is: you flip, he turns. It can be printed in full color using the ams system. The model consists of 3 parts: the flower stem, the flower and the top cap. Insert the flower into the stem without forcing, it will slide on its own as there is a great tolerance and there is no friction, then screw on the top cap. The fidget flower is now ready. I printed it in color using my ams and colored pla filaments, I used a bit of brim for the adhesion, and I inserted the tree supports for the flower print because there are suspended petals. I recommend using the addactive layers for the flower so it comes out smooth and neat. If you like my model, leave me a like to let me understand. the flower really didn’t work with PLA and this profile. trying again with the other Designer profile which has - I think - a brim and support.

hi, strange that it didn't work, I printed them yesterday too, people like it and ask me and yet they all ran freely with those settings. What brand of Pla did you use?

Would it be possible to make a 9” shaft version? I would greatly appreciate it! I’ve tried extending it, but have been unsuccessful in doing so. My method has been to basically cut and clone the shaft and stack them up matching the threads, but it’s always a little bit off.

I’m looking more to just increase the length of the shaft and maintain the same thread pitch/speed so the flower has a much greater distance to travel at the same speed. I appreciate you responding so quickly!
