Description

Note: Per Zenith Pilot

For X1C the tips needed to be printed at 105% for the threading to work.

If you intend on trapping the plastic within the threads, then 110% may work better.

Nothing printed on a 3D printer is food safe. Not only does the plastic potentially touch materials that are not safe for consumption, but also the layer lines make a very effective environment for bacterial growth. No one should use this or any other 3D printed item that touches food.

True'ish. Print using food safe PETG and then when washing use STAR SAN and do a 30 minute soak and scrub. Another option is to wash thoroughly with soap and water and then prior to use soak in STAR SAN for approx. 15 minutes and rinse.

Basically all cookie cutters are printed at this point. We have some we used many hundreds of not thousands of times over at this point without issue. Nothing is going to grow when properly washed and dried and even if it did it would be such a minor amount it would be completely negligible. Storing food might be a different story but temporary use followed by cleaning is not going to allow anything to grow and there are studies demonstrating this.
