The Pagani Huayra is a mid-engined supercar that was launched by Italian sports car manufacturer Pagani at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, replacing the Pagani Zonda as the company's mainstay.The Huayra is powered by AMG's 6.0L twin-supercharged V12 engine, built specifically for Pagani, with over 700 horsepower and peak torque of around 1,000N-m. The gullwing door design and wedge-shaped nose and glass cabin have an alpaca-like teardrop shape. The gull-wing door design, wedge-shaped nose, teardrop-shaped glass cabin, alpaca-colored leather seats and all-carbon fiber body, integrated audio-visual system as well as a variety of multifunctional configurations such as a car communication system, make the Huayra luxurious and at the same time full of technology.
At the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, Pagani officially unveiled its new V12 sports car, the Huayra, which features gullwing doors and a luxurious interior. The car will replace the Zonda as Pagani's main model, the price will be more than 1 million euros. Huayra in Spanish has the meaning of "wind god", which also continues the naming style of the Zonda (the son of the wind). It is understood that this change in the Pagani Huayra is mainly for the consumer demand in both the American and Chinese markets. The top speed is 363km and the 0-100 acceleration is 3.2 seconds.
