I created an adapter for the LED lamp 001 Base.

With the adapter, it is possible to accommodate a D1 Mini ESP8266MOD 12-F (or similar) and a WS2812B 12Bit 50mm RGB LED ring.

This gives you the opportunity to operate the lamp with WLED.

Many beautiful and customizable "light games" become possible in this way.

I attached the ring with 4 pcs. 2x4mm notebook screws.

In any case, describe the ESP8266 with the software before installation. When it is inserted into the base, you can no longer reach the USB port. It is best to test everything and then install it.

I took a normal USB cable and power supply (in my case I still had a 850mA) as a power supply and soldered everything.

I fixed the ESP8266 with some hot glue.

The adapter can be glued or screwed into the base when everything is soldered and mounted. It also holds up quite well for me.
