I have made some minor edits to the design and also included the STEP file if anyone needs it to do some editing. All the best.

 

INTRODUCTION

The nozzle wiper on the X1/X1C is one of the most abused parts of the printer. Especially if you are printing multi-colours. It gets smacked left-right by a hardened steel nozzle. The PTFE tube gets scarred very quickly, making the wiping less efficient.

Instead of throwing away after replacing it with one of the spares. You can straighten it up and replace the PTFE tube. The length needed is around 11.7 - 11.8mm. This is a small jig for cutting the tube (OD4mm ID2.5mm) to replace the used ones on the nozzle wiper.

turned out really nicely. I have a ton of extra PTFE tube so this will help me make good use of it!

it came out perfect! i found one more use for it: to cut the PTFE at a sharp 90 degrees angle! cut all my tubes and no more AMS retract error. Great job!
