Description

I'm not the creator of the model, I just created a print profile for my very own need and I wanted to share it with others.

Description

This is a remix of Chewey's deburring tool case and Whity's parametric rugged box. It has an insert construction in the style of PjotrStrog's Multipart Pinecil case.

Like the original, this case fits a 150mm length tool from tip of blade to end of handle and has the sturdy blade holders. The handle width is 15mm across (widest) edge of the hex handle.

From the makes people have posted, here is a list of the tools and what insert was used.

150mm Length:

Assembly

You will need six 20 mm long M3 screws to assemble it. The magnet used for holding the tool in place is 6mm x 3mm.

Super glue can be used to hold the magnet and inserts in place if the friction fit is not strong enough.

absolutely awesome. be sure your deburing tool will fit. I had a slightly better set than the standard cheap plastic mold most sellers throw into tool kit combos so mine was slightly different. I used my wood burning tool to melt it to fit and still absolutely love it

top lid does not print flush with bed causing fitment issues

@verdoc109 Could you share a photo please? I'm wondering because another user also reported an issue with the top lid, whereas my version printed without any issues (as for most other users as well). Did you change any settings prior printing?

Support Issue:supports are included in the profile but no supports are needed for this model

Other Issues:the top part of the outer shell of the case wasn’t flush against the build plate meaning that only have the bottom of the case was printed on the first layer and the rest started on the second layer which causes poor quality on the top of the case

@ClaytonMerkle I'm sorry to read about your printing issues, but I'm a little bit confused because a lot of people have no issues with the top of the case. Maybe it could be some issue on your side?

Danke für die Rückmeldung @stephanweinzier 👍 Ich möchte jedoch darauf hinweisen, dass in der Beschreibung explizit angegeben wird welche Tools welcher Hersteller passen. Ich vermute deiner gehört nicht zu der Liste? Und das dein Entgrater nicht ohne Nacharbeiten passt tut mir leid. Kannst du mir den Hersteller sagen, dann ergänze ich oben in der Beschreibung das der von dir nicht passt.

Hallo Vielen Dank für die Antwort. Leider habe ich jetzt erst nach deiner Antwort gelesen dass es keine universelle Box ist. Hier habe ich leider nicht genau gelesen dies tut mir sehr leid, deshalb gebe ich dir jetzt trotzdem 5sterne weil die Druckqualität sehr gut ist und auch schöne Details eingearbeitet wurden, so wie man die Messer schön festsitzend in den Rahmen einklipsen kann. Mein Entgrater ist von flintronic.
