Description

Eliminates the stuck symptoms of AMS.

------Symptom-----
1. If you set up a printout and come back the next day, the printout is completed, but it is not completed.
2. When printing in color, it prints well, but at some point you cannot change the color and there is fuzz.
3. Fortunately, the printing was completed and the color was changed, but AMS sometimes makes a crunching sound.
(If there is a small pillar left in the spool, the probability increases...)

*Iron core-----3mm x 80mm stainless steel
* Bearing ----- 3mm x 8mm x 4mm (inner diameter, outer diameter, width)

1. Cut the iron core and prepare as needed.
----The length is 80mm, but when bearings are installed, it becomes 82mm. Therefore, about 81~81.5mm is appropriate.

2. Print as many uploaded files as you need.
----If you want to keep it tidy, please support us. Otherwise, only the protruding part will collapse slightly and there will be no problem in use.

3. Insert the printed material into the metal bar, paying attention to its direction.
-----There is almost no tolerance, so there is no need to apply adhesive. As the print cools, it will shrink slightly and fit snugly.

4. Carefully slide the bearing into the vise, lightly resting the bearing on both sides.
----- Do not insert bearings all at once. Rotate it slowly and insert it into the vise. If excessive force is applied, the bearing will be damaged.
----- Insert the bearing slowly, check it with a vernier caliper, and then push it in until both ends are 82mm.

5. Strip the rubber from the old roller.
-----Poke it alternately with a flat-blade screwdriver to open a gap, and then pull it lightly to easily remove it.

6. Finish by pushing the rubber onto the new roller.
----No glue required as the rubber is fixed to the gear.

7. Check whether both bearings rotate smoothly.
----If it sticks too much to the print or touches the rubber, it may harden.

Good luck!

Unfortunately, the extra diameter of the gear didn't work well on my AMS
