Description

Simple to print, you dont need a multi colour AMS or MMU unit. All you need is black and white filament. This will print in any FDM printer capable of printing 0.08 layer height.

This filament painting is created with Steve Lavitas' brilliant Hueforge software. It creates beautiful colour 3D prints from images. Photos dont do justice to the prints, they have to be seen and felt to be appreciated. The original image was converted to black and white and optimised for Hueforge.

About the Model:

In the lithograph by artist Indra Sharma, Lord Krishna is portrayed as the divine cowherd. He is seated on a sturdy rock, playing a flute, and attired in a simple yellow robe with a gold crown gracing his head. Surrounding him are a group of cows, seemingly captivated by the enchanting melody emanating from his flute.

The background of Krishna as a cowherd is a significant aspect of the artwork. Krishna spent his formative years in the idyllic pastoral setting of Vrindavan, where he herded cows and played his melodious tunes on the flute. This period in Krishna's life is symbolic of his divine connection with nature and all living beings. It represents the love and harmony he shared with the animals and the environment, embodying the essence of a carefree and spiritually enriching existence.

The serene landscape, with a meandering stream and a graceful peacock, further enhances the lithograph's sense of tranquility. This portrayal captures the simplicity and spiritual charm of Lord Krishna as the beloved cowherd, evoking a sense of peace and reverence for his divine presence in the pastoral setting of Vrindavan.

Printing Instructions:

Print at 100% infill with a layer height of 0.08mm with a base layer of 0.16mm

Filaments Used:
PLA+ Esun Black Transmission Distance: 2.6
PLA+ Esun White Transmission Distance: 10

Swap Instructions:
Start with Black
At layer #7 (0.64mm) swap to White for the rest.

IMPORTANT NOTE: For colour accuracy you will need to print with white filament with a Transmission Distance (TD) of 10. The TD of the black does'nt seem to matter. But dont worry, just use ESUN White and Black. I chose Esun because that brand seems to be universally available across the world. You will have the same result with ANY white filament with a TD of 10. To find the TD of your filament check out:
