Problem:

Everybody knows the great Bambulab Marble Run, but you need everytime an external USB source.

My Son uses an power-bank for it, but he never turn it off! 🤣click...clack...doing...boing...🥴

Solution:

I created a perfect fit Box to the Marble Run for a Ø14 battery pack with charging port and include a button with a timer module.

What you need:

Li-Ionen Akkupack 14430/14500 3,7v battery pack: Something like https://amzn.to/3vp9tJK or https://amzn.to/4aLfIre
USB-C Charging Module https://amzn.to/47JILJt
AT41 Timer Module https://a.aliexpress.com/_EGpWUWt
Push Button https://amzn.to/3MUYYns
1. Alternative you could use a self locking Push Button without the timer module. https://amzn.to/3MUapvB
Some cables and a soldering iron

Assembly:

Cut the motor cable around 150mm.

Solder as shown in the schematic below. Cables with 50mm length are enough.

Think about the button, cables has to go through the inlet on the housing.

Insert all components into the housing. Begin with the button, timer, battery and end with the charging module.

Habe deine geniale Idee mit Freude übernommen und für meine Marble Run Version angepasst. Dennoch habe ich ein Problem mit dem USB Lademodul. Ich bekomme die Überladeabsicherung nicht aktiviert. Somit wird auch nachdem die blaue LED angeht weiter geladen (rote LED ist weiter an). Hattest du ev. auch das Problem? Hier gerne Bilder vom angepassten Design mit einem zusätzlichen „Kill-Switch“.

Hi, danke für deinen Kommentar und die coolen Bilder. Nein, das Problem hatte ich nicht. Bei mir erlischt die Rote nach einer Zeit und die Blaue geht an. Hatte aber schon mehrere Projekte mit den USB Lademodulen und hatte auch schon den ein oder anderen kaputten dabei. Vielleicht war ich aber auch damals beim löten zu ungeschickt. Dadurch das durch den Timer die Batterie gefühlt ewig hält, könnte man die 14500 auch zum laden herausnehmen. Grüße

Hi, bei mir läuchtet es rot beim laden und blau wenn batterie voll ist. Es scheint aber nur etwas durch das Gehäuse, da ich kein Licht geplant habe. Die Batterie hält gefühlt ewig!

Hi Oli, freut mich dass alles geklappt hat!! Nach den Motoren hab ich einzeln nicht gesucht, hab mir im Bambusho, aber noch einen besorgt. Das Snowmobil hatte ich etstmal nicht in Planung...zu wenig Schnee😁 abet mal sehn👍

Hi, i have just printed the case and i'm waitng for Aliexpress. Can you explain how to configure the AT41 timer. I think there is no directions included in the package. You wrote that it is possible to use a self locking Push Button. Can you explain how to put the the caples fpr this way? Thanks in advance best regards Oliver

You need a NON self locking button if you want to use AT41. You simple connect as shown,you will see it work. You only need to adjust the screw for given time. if u use a self locking button or switch, its very simple. I added a picture.
