Description

A simple clip-on adapter which makes the factory spool holder able to hold larger spools.
Clips on without tools or needing to unscrew the spool holder.
The print works printed as draft on ludicrous mode.

The print profile is without any issues, a screwdriver can be used to press the supports out that are in between. I’ve set the printer speed to fast. The model however could use some more space for the screws. Both screw gaps have had to be enlarged by cutting the object. Besides the margin issue, it does fit my AmazonBasics 1KG PLA without issue.

It looks like you used the same filament for the model & support. How did you remove it? When I try to use PLA for both it just sticks way too much to each other. Best regrads,

Nice model, I used ABS and the 0.20 strength setting on a X1C. Unfortunately the piece broke when trying to remove the notch support as I used too much force. Will try again as the other parts are unbreakable.

Hi Elanozturk, I have used tree support, but I’m pretty sure that it can be printed without and cleaned up with an exacto knife.

I print it with ABS, looks beautifull. But I have one problem. Screw on the left side isn't hidden into body, like right screw. I do not know if it is only my Bambu like this, or modeller forgot for this small detail. For this small problem it was tricky to install extender there, but with more force it fits 😁

Hi Zdendo, Thanks for the feedback 🙂 I have tried to make room for it, without sacrificing too much strength, but I might have been a little too cautious. “Force fixes everything, but thirst” 😉
