Description

This is a baffle design for the silencer/suppressor for airsoft guns.

I use it on my Silverback TAC-41P with an aluminium suppressor (40 mm outer diameter, 160 mm total length produced by AirsoftPro.cz - Suppressors with 14mm thread : Suppressor (silencer) A.E.I. 160 x 40mm - AirsoftPro.cz) in combination with EPeS airsoft dummy suppressor inserts (Dummy suppressor inserts for airsoft (epesairsoft.com)) Older generations (Mk I./Mk II.) do not include baffles. Newer generation - Mk III. - finally contains baffles with simple design, anyway for all user whose own older generation - you can print and use my baffles. Also, why not to improve the design and get maximum advantage in game?! BE RECON, STAY RECON!!! :)

Use this baffle for the foam chamber ring inserts (thickness 10 mm), it will help to reduce the sound and also reinforces the foam ring - it will not deform and last fully functional.

Included file is compatible with the 40 mm insert type (for inner diameter of suppressor 36 mm), you can easily change the scaling of baffle if you need to fit your size.

You can also use the baffle as a standalone solution and combine it with foam inserts, you do not have to assemble them into the foam ring.

There are three versions available (and in two outer diameters, more will come):

A) the simple one - for those who own previous generation Mk II. and want to upgrade to a new generation Mk III.

B) the improved simple design with holes - same core design as above

C) the enhanced one which is based on the previous gained experiences and provides even better sound reduction. This one makes a huge different. I recommend this one.

Printing:

  • PLA
  • no supports
  • avoid crossing perimeters enabled
  • 0,4 mm nozzle
  • 100% infill
  • 0,10 mm layer QUALITY settings recommended, anyway can be printed with 0,20 mm layer QUALITY as well (tested, no issue)
  • if you have any adhesion issues during printing (bed) - enable BRIM settings in your slicer
