Description

This 3D model was made using Nomad Sculpt.

The Nahual is a fascinating figure in Mexican folklore and indigenous beliefs. It's seen as a person's spiritual counterpart in the form of an animal. Each individual is thought to have their own nahual, which guides and protects them throughout life.

This belief suggests that a person's nahual determines their traits and destiny. In some stories, nahuals can transform between human and animal forms, possessing special powers or heightened abilities when in their animal shape.

Different regions and communities in Mexico have their own interpretations of the nahual, but overall, it's considered a significant and powerful spiritual guardian linked to individuals from birth. The concept of the nahual continues to be an important part of Mexican cultural and spiritual heritage.

This sculpture is an interpretation of a nahual, it belongs to a cover of a music album, a mexican rap singer named Don Kalavera, I am not sure who the art belongs to, but I will leave my favorite song in the following link, I hope you enjoy.

Here you can see the original 2D art, I looked for the name of the illustrator but I was not able to find the author, if someone knows, please share this work inspired by it.
