Description

I ran into the “issue” that the marker plate that came with my Revopoint is larger (200mm diamter) then the rotating table (125mm diameter).

To solve this, I created this adapater, which you can place on the rotating table.

 

Update 10-1-2024: I have added a version with a sligtly higher (1.5mm) tolerance on the inside ring due to feedback from a user that his print did not fit, which could be caused by using another brand of filament (flow settings).

 

Side-note: the original model works without issues for me using Bambu Lab Basic PLA.

I’m sorry for this low rating, but the model quality isn’t good. The inside of the “ring” has no tolerance and the sectors don’t allow the insertion of the turntable.

Hello, thank you for the comment. and if it does not work I can fully understand the low rating. That being said, for me it worked without any issues (as the pictures show). The fit is tight, but it should be to make sure the platform will wiggle/or be loose (and not rotate). I printed this with Bambu Lab Basic PLA, can you please let me know which filament and printer you used? Maybe I can do some test to optimize the tolerance. Regarding the quality: I used TinkerCad to create the design, which has a limited number of edges. due to this a round object has some edges instead of it being fully round. For me, this cause no issues at all though.

I printed with Eryone white PLA. I think if you could export it in .step format to solve some issues about the inside ring..maybe add 0.1mm offset could help..

I have added a new version with a slightly larger inner diameter (1.5mm) hopefully this will solve the issue.

exactly what was needed! used glue dots to hold the sheet on the base.

I needed to sand it a bit but other than that it was totally fine, use the latest profile i guess it fix the issue.

Didn't quite fit. The model was uploaded as an STL, and the circle approximation was too rough. A finer detailed STL, or even better a STEP file, would likely fix the issue.

Hello, thank you for the review and sorry that your print didn’t fit. Just to be sure: did you also try the design with a little more clearance? For me personally the original design worked without any issues when using Bambu Lab PLA.
