This is a beautiful decorated box designed to be used as a ring holder in the upper part and with a lower compartment for earrings or bracelets.
All in all, this model is very easy to print and requires no post-processing.
The model consists of 4 parts and none of them require supports.
For the bottom part of the box, I suggest enabling fuzzy skin on the contours to increase grip.
The lid should be printed using the reverse printing technique, and I recommend using a contrasting color for the decoration.
If you use Bambu Studio and have an AMS, you will find the pre-prepared file with color change already set.
For this part as well, I suggest enabling fuzzy skin to achieve a consistent finish between the base and lid.
The bottom insert is optional and easy to print, simply inserted into the bottom of the box.
It can be useful for holding earrings or small charms, but if you need more space, you can directly use the box for bracelets.
The top insert is designed as a ring holder, and currently has 12 slots measuring 5mm x 22mm.
This part features a central hole to facilitate removal from the box.
I printed all the parts on a PEI magnetic sheet with a 0.4mm nozzle and a layer height of 0.2mm, but I believe a 0.3mm layer height will also work.
The entire model, using my BambuLab P1P, takes less than 4.30 hours to print.
Material: PLA
Layer: 0.2mm
Infill: 15%
Supports: NO
The two inserts simply fit inside the box.
The bottom insert has a slightly smaller diameter, so it should be inserted first.
I've set a tolerance of 0.4 between the box and the lid, and by using fuzzy skin, the lid fits snugly into place.
If you like the model, but you have any suggestions for improvement, like and comment.
I will do my best to make this project better and better
