Description

We had collected a large number of take out boxes from our local Thai. They were good quality plastic with clear lids so we kept collecting them figuring they'd be good for storage. But we never did anything with them. Then my wife got into beading and needed to sort out large numbers of beads into containers that wouldn't spill. And so these were born.

These are sized to fit into the specific Thai take out boxes that we had - your mileage may vary. Most of the boxes are sized such that two stack together to fit inside the Thai take out box with a flush fit to the top and a snug fit so they don't move around within it. Obviously, they can be also be used without - they stack nicely by themselves and could be stacked on shelves or in drawers instead.

And after these were born a stackable shelf unit was needed to put them in:

There are multiple variations based on what my wife's needs were:

2x3

2x4

2x6

1x6+1x3

2x7

2x3 double height

Our Thai take out boxes were:

~229mm long

~158mm wide

~61mm tall

With curved corners that the containers are designed to fit. You will prboably be able to scale these models in the slicer to adjust them for slightly different sized take-out boxes.

The single container size is:

182mm long

110mm wide

27mm tall (+1 mm for the raised sections that lock them together).

With 20mm radius corners to fit inner curved corners of the Thai take out boxes.
