Description

Print instructions for frame

To achieve wider range of movement, I had to modify 4 pieces of frame parts. Don't forget to print them. Rest of the frame parts are the same as the original DUMMY 13. It is recommended to print frame from PETG.

Print instructions for armor

  • 0.2 mm, 3 perimeters
  • Parts are pre-oriented to the printbed.
  • Some armor parts require supports. Namely: armor_helmet.stl, armor_hip_left.stl, armor_hip_right.stl, armor_chest.stl, armor_knee_left.stl, armor_knee_right.stl, armor_visor.stl
  • For your convenience, use provided 3mf files with all the necessary parts and settings for Bambu

Assembly

For assembly, please follow BUILD GUIDE. Some steps are slightly different from the original. Note: kneepads might use a drop of glue to hold better in place.

i print with wrong color (esun pla)so i decide to shoot him with airsoft gun 15 round (.22g320fps)=kinetic energy=1J i expected a big explode of him but i am surprised by how strong warrior spirit he had he still held up fine (compared with his size it like been hit by cannon 15 time)

Added some laser etching to the shield (PLA material, laser is a diode 20W at 55% engrave). The texture of the markings are glittery looking, which is an unintended outcome, but pretty neat to see in person. I plan to do a lot more with both techs in the future

Fixed, I had the wrong base model! Sorry about that. This guy actually works great! Thank you for this! There seems to be a discrepancy in size. I printed the original lucky 13 in 175% size, then printed this outfit in 175% but the armor appears to be too small and not compatible.

There is no discrepancy. Armor is for DUMMY 13, not Lucky 13

模型设计很巧妙,效果很棒,但是组装的时候请注意,关节连接处有点紧,需要涂抹润滑油,The model design is very clever and the effect is great, but when assembling, please note that the joint joints are a bit tight and need to be lubricated.

Thank you. To my defense: a) I didn't make the joints, original creator did b) I had no problem with joints at all, maybe try calibrate your flow. c) joints will became smoother during use.

Btw, it looks like it's scaled up? If so, then this is the problem; joints are fine in 100 % scale

A little tricky to put together, but an awesome result. Definitely make sure to print the dummy body in PETG.

Getting the knees to fit on was a bit of a chore, part of the reason being and I had to reprint them a few times until one was close enough that it would work. I think I have filament quality issues on the PLA side. Otherwise this is a great model, shows you put a LOT of effort into it, and I am really grateful there are designers like you out there who take the time to not only design something this awesome but put together detailed instructions on how to assemble it. Thank you!
