Description

Let's start a marble race with friends! This marble run features a series of elements including elevator, starting line, randomized dividers, elevated track, large funnel, spiral, and loop section. It allows competition of multiple marbles, with each segment introducing an element of unpredictability. The excitement continues all the way to the end!

Recommended filaments: Bambu PLA series, PLA Basic is recomended for more smooth track

Brilliant for further expansion… Update: I’ve received many requests to share the expansions with the BBL community. I’m very pleased about and discussed it with BBL many times, even last week. But unfortunately I’m still not allowed to share a complete remix. Addons and enhancements are less of a problem, but my extensions go far beyond that. So take my work as an idea of what can be done with the excellent Marble Run 003. Btw… I’ll do it too (e.g. the battery box with switch and timer was not my idea. I just built it differently). Maybe you can build the expansions yourself or request BBL to finally allow Marble Run 003 remixes… As you can see from the new photos, I improved and slightly expanded my expansions.

I would like to, but I think BBL's Marble Run 3 license terms don't allow it. Licence: „...object, nor any other DERIVATIVE work of this object…“

Funktioniert einwandfrei.

Great easy build but the marbles end up bunching up in the slope portion after a few minutes because they run into each other. Needs a redesign in that the slope needs to be a simple ramp instead.

Such a fun print! Clean and smooth, loved this project. Can't wait to receive the Marble Run Kit in the mail! Used generic (Inland) PLA filament from Microcenter

The green filament you have used in the picture, what color and filament producer is it?

Prints well for the most part. Plate 11 prints best in silent mode, otherwise the overhangs don’t look great.

LG

I selected “print parts” and printed the base and conveyor tower in grey. I then printed all the remaining parts in a different color. It took a little while longer, but I think the result was worth it.

After a weeks worth printing it came out great . Had problems assembling the chain. Tolerances very tight and I needed a lot of force pushing the links together. Result several broken hooks. Wonder if printing the chain in PETG would make it more sturdy.

the trick to assemble the chain is to note the tiny notches next to the divots on the connectors. two are on the upper side and two are on the lower side. to assemble it, position the mating parts so that the connector's with the divots is tilted up so that the two upward facing notches are under the mating part and the two downward facing notches are above the mating part. Then twist the notched chain clockwise to line up and contact the mating part. Press down the joint on a flat surface and they will snap into place. I think the designer did this so that they cannot pop apart while traveling around the pulley, they have to be physically twisted counter-clockwise to take them apart. Nice Design. Threy just need more detailed instructions.
