Easy dock to “auto” connect to CarPlay by just putting your phone in the dock.

A phone dock made to fit the cupholder on Hyundai Ioniq 6. It is made for iPhone XS, but should fit most mobiles.

You do need a charge cable (tested with original Apple cable) and a hot glue gun.

1. Insert the cable through the hole in the back of the model.
2. Plug it in your phone and check that it fits in the dock.
3. Fill hot glue in the empty space below and around the cable/phone (take care that it doesn't come in contact with your phone).
4. Let cool.
5. Done :)

I used a bit of double-sided tape on the bottom to secure the dock in my car.

A good designer could perhaps make a design not needing glue and tape. This is just a quick and functional design, and it does its job :)
