Description

Please also check out my latest design, a Long Range Dog Whistle at 7000 Hz. Please download here.

I have also developed real Ultrasonic dog whistles at 20,000 Hz and above, which you can find here.

WARNING:
This is a dog whistle and not a toy! It's very loud which can harm the ears, so please protect your ears and don't use it near other people or animals!

This dog whistle produces a very loud tone of about 19 kHz. You'll probably think that the whistle isn't working - but that's because humans (especially as they get older) hear higher tones less loudly or not at all - unlike many animals! I therefore recommend a frequency measurement app for testing. I use this android app.

How to print:

Use a line width of 0.4 mm and a layer height of 0.2 mm, 6 top layers and 6 bottom layers.

The whistle requires correct positioning of the Z-seam - it shouldn't be placed in the narrow air passages inside the whistle.

Would you mind being more specific about what exactly isn't working and how you tested the function? Pictures of the print might also be helpful.

Replying to @ThreeDMichael :
There is no sound at all, not even my dog reacts (he is about 1 year old), you can remake the sound by putting your hand to your hand (closed) and then start blowing while slowly opening your hand
