To keep my hands free whilst working, I sometimes keep a drink bottle attached to my work belt. My design provides a belt/bag buckle arrangement to secure to the drink bottle. The simple buckle arrangement allows quick and convenient access to a water bottle attached to your belt or perhaps even a bag.
The water bottle is attached via a clip that snaps to the bottle neck. The clip then buckles to a belt clip (or bag).
The belt clip attaches to the buckle by, for example a cut piece of shoelace. The bag buckle attaches to a bag, or similar via a 19mm flat strap.
The belt clip design is provided in two sizes, for belt widths of either 38mm (1.5in) or 45mm (1.75in). The belt clip is either slid on or can accept a belt flexed into it.
I fabricated the parts in PLA+. I expect PETG to work well, too. Perhaps someone can advise whether the clip made in PLA can flex enough without cracking?
I've set all the parts into a single 3MF file. You may not need all the parts, so, depending on whether you are making the fittings to dangle from a belt or from a strap, delete from the build plate the parts that are not required.
My print is made in 1.75mm eSUN PLA Plus Black filament, with 0.2mm layer height and 15% infill on a Bambu X1 Carbon printer. Print supports are required for all parts.
I hope you can find this print useful, too.
Remember to leave me some feedback or even a tip to keep me enthused to make more of these drawings.
